Below are the digits of angel number 655, a six and then two fives, as tradition describes them, followed by the sums, one fact from the phone system and a note on the clock. It is meant as something to reflect on, and it predicts nothing.
The 6 Leads, the 5s Follow
The 6 stands alone at the front and the pair of 5s closes the number, so the digits rise in restlessness as you read. Sepharial, in The Kabala of Numbers (1911), gives the 6 to Venus and describes it as “The number of co-operation.” Hans Decoz, a modern practitioner, says that “The most important influence of the 6 is its loving and caring nature.” The two descriptions agree that the 6 is a digit of relationship.
The 5 is built differently. Sepharial links it to Jupiter and writes that “Expansion is represented by this number.” Decoz calls the 5 “the most dynamic and energetic of all the single-digit numbers”. In Sepharial’s planets 655 runs Venus, Jupiter, Jupiter, and in Decoz’s words a caring digit is followed by the most energetic one twice. Whether those work together or against each other is for the reader to decide; the tradition gives the digits and not the answer.
Reaching 7 by Way of 16
Six plus five plus five makes 16, and one plus six makes 7. The middle stop is worth naming. 16 is one of four totals, with 13, 14 and 19, that numerologists call karmic debt numbers, and our page on karmic debt number 16 explains the label and how it is counted. It is a convention stated about a total and not about the reader, and 655 only passes through it on the way to its last digit.
That last digit is the 7, a digit that appears nowhere in the written number, so 655 shows a 6 and two 5s and ends on a 7 that is only ever implied. Sepharial calls it “The number of completion.” under Saturn, and Decoz describes it as “the seeker, thinker, the searcher of Truth”. A number made of a relational digit and a restless pair therefore ends on the most reflective digit of the nine.
Where else the 7 turns up
The same 7 appears wherever the number is broken. Keep the 6 apart and the pieces 6 and 55 total 61, which reduces to 7; keep the first two digits together and 65 and 5 total 70, which goes straight to 7. The neighboring pairs give 11 for the 6 and a 5, and 10 for the two 5s. The 11 is a master number, but only as a stage of the pair sums and not of the chain, so the method does not stop there. See the page on master numbers for when it does.
Broken into primes, 655 is 5 x 131, and 131 reads the same backward as forward, which makes that factor a palindrome and a prime at once. Turned around, 655 becomes 556, treated on the page for angel number 556, and the two numbers differ by 99. 655 itself is not a palindrome.
Five Minutes to Seven
6:55 is on the 12-hour face twice daily; on a 24-hour display it is 06:55, once. It is five minutes before seven o’clock, and the 7 is the digit the number reduces to, a coincidence of the clock face and not a rule of the method. On this display the 6 is the hour and the pair of 5s is the minutes, so the split between the digits is the same as the split between hours and minutes. No date fits, since 6/55 and 65/5 do not exist in the US format.
A Code Reserved for Canada
Outside numerology, 655 has a single documented use, and it is an idle one. Wikipedia’s list of North American area codes marks it “Not in use; reserved for Canadian non-geographic assignment”. That means 655 is set aside but dials no town or city. It says nothing about the digits in numerology, but it settles the question of whether a 655 you read on a sign is a telephone prefix.
Two Repeats Behind One Number
Angel number 666 and angel number 555 each lend 655 a digit, and angel number 556 puts the 6 at the end instead. For the larger set, the repeating numbers page is the place to start.
Sevens Among Birth Dates
Take the 21,915 dates from 1950-01-01 to 2009-12-31 that we counted: 11.1% of them give a life path 7, and the personal year 7 of 2027 holds 11.48% of the 366 birthdays. The route from a birth date to that digit is on the life path number 7 page, and it is unlike meeting a number by chance. Enter your own date in the calculator.
Questions people ask
Numerology describes 655 through its parts: a 6, a pair of 5s, a total of 16 that some numerologists label a karmic debt number, and a final 7. Each part has a short traditional description. The method stops there, so any larger meaning is something a person brings to the sighting.
A 6 followed by two 5s. They add to 16, and 1 + 6 gives 7. The number is also 5 x 131, and 131 is prime. Reversed it reads 556. Those are the arithmetic facts, and they hold whether or not anyone assigns the number a meaning.
Not at present. Wikipedia's list of North American area codes says 655 is not in use and is reserved for Canadian non-geographic assignment, which means no town or city is dialed with it. A 655 you meet on a bill or a sign is far more likely to be a count or an address.
Yes. Each digit is added in, so the pair contributes 10 to the total, and the 6 brings it to 16. In the traditional method repetition is also noticed on its own, since a doubled digit is usually described as emphasis. That is interpretation, though, and the sum itself is plain addition.
