Who we are

Free calculators

When you use a calculator, the name, birth date, time and place you enter are processed by code running in your own browser. They are not sent to our servers. Results can appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share them; anyone you share that link with can see those details. The place search loads a list of cities from our site; what you type stays on your device.

Personal readings

When you order a reading we collect your name at birth, date, time and place of birth, email address, and the fact of your purchase. For a compatibility reading we also collect the other person's name, date, time and place of birth, which you give us on their behalf. We use these details to calculate and write your reading, deliver it, send your receipt and handle support. The legal basis is performing our contract with you.

To do this we use a small number of service providers, each bound to use the data only on our behalf:

• Payment processing: Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Writing assistance: an AI model provider that processes your birth details and calculated chart to draft the reading. We do not permit it to train on your data.
• Email delivery: Resend.
• Hosting and storage: Cloudflare.

We keep the birth details, the text of your reading and the PDF for 90 days after delivery so we can answer questions about it, then delete them automatically, sooner if you ask. The download link in your delivery email works for 30 days. We keep a basic order record (email address, date, reading type and amount paid) for as long as tax and accounting law requires. If an order is started but never paid, we delete its details within a few days.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that last up to two years and let it recognise a returning browser. It collects information such as the pages you view, how you reached the site, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it to the United States.

We only report the address of the page you are on, never what follows it. Calculator results, order numbers and anything else in the query string or after a # are removed before anything is sent, and the order pages are reported under one generic address. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies.

To opt out, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way. Our host also keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under California law; we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Children

Paid readings are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
