Angel number 43 is a 4 followed by a 3, and it has a partner among the primes, a twin that sits two places below it. This page reads the digits through Sepharial (1911) and Hans Decoz, follows the sum to 7, and then looks at 43 as a number in its own right. It is tradition and sums for reflection, and it forecasts nothing.
A Prime With a Twin
43 is prime, so it has no equal halves and no factors. Counting from 2, it is the fourteenth prime. The prime just below it is 41, and the two differ by 2, which makes them twin primes. That relationship is arithmetic, and our page on angel number 41 treats the other half of the pair.
Its own digits as powers
Take the digits and use them as exponents and you find a coincidence: 4 squared is 16, 3 cubed is 27, and 16 + 27 is 43. The 27 there is the subject of angel number 27. It is a quirk of small numbers, with no standing in numerology, and we include it because the arithmetic of 43 turned out to hold a second tidy fact beyond the twin prime. One more observation of the same kind: 43 is also 6 x 7 + 1, one above 42.
Reversed and dated
Read backward, 43 is 34, which has its own page at angel number 34 and is not prime, since it is 2 x 17. The two forms make 77 when added. Four times three is 12, and the digits differ by 1. No clock reading turns up for 43 on a 12-hour or a 24-hour display, and in the American month-first style 4/3 is April 3.
Falling From 4 to 3
The 4 in front
The 4 leads. Sepharial, in The Kabala of Numbers (1911), calls it the “number of reality and concretion” and links it to Mercury. In Decoz’s modern description the same digit is about “strength and stability”. Both put something solid at the head of 43.
The 3 behind it
The 3 closes the number, and on it the two authors sound very different. Sepharial gives it to Mars and calls it the trilogy and the “trinity of life, substance, and intelligence”. Decoz’s image is a gifted teenager who is still under the protection of parents. A structure digit followed by an unfinished, energetic one gives 43 a descending shape, which is our description of the order and not something either author states.
The Seven That Comes Out
Four plus three is 7, which ends the chain in one step. Saturn is the planet Sepharial attaches to a 7, and his word for it is “completion”. For Decoz a 7 is “the seeker, thinker, the searcher of Truth”. One entry is an ending and the other a question.
Across the whole number the planets run Mercury, Mars and then Saturn for the total. Nothing more is claimed for that sequence than that it is how Sepharial’s 1911 assignments line up. Readers who want a 7 from a birth date can turn to life path number 7.
Comparing 43 With 34
The two share digits and the total, so a reader who knows the tradition for one knows it for the other. The difference is arithmetic: 43 has two divisors and 34 has four. We find no ranking of orders in either source, and we do not invent one here. Put side by side, the two numbers are 9 apart, because 43 minus 34 equals nine times the gap between the digits, and that gap is 1. Halving shows the same split: 34 breaks into two 17s and 43 cannot be halved into whole numbers at all.

Guide pages for 43 sit outside our sources. That is why love, work and money readings are absent here, and why any verdict about a coming week would be invented and not reported.

Put three 4s or three 3s together and you reach angel number 444 or angel number 333. The hub on repeating numbers explains how those repeated forms are read, which is a different exercise from reading the mixed pair 43.
A Count of Sevens
Of the 21,915 days from 1 January 1950 to 31 December 2009 that we reduced, 11.1% came out as a life path 7. Our 2027 count is 11.48% of 366 birthdays in a personal year 7. An even spread across nine digits would sit near 11.1%, so these are ordinary shares.

Questions people ask
Numerology reads it as the digits 4 and 3 adding up to 7. Sepharial links the 4 to Mercury, the 3 to Mars and the 7 to Saturn, and Decoz calls the 7 the seeker. Those are descriptions of digits and a sum, and they make no prediction about anyone who notices 43.
Twin primes are primes that differ by 2. 41 and 43 are such a pair, since both have no divisors other than 1 and themselves. The idea is mathematical, and the numerology we quote attaches no meaning to it. It only explains why 41 and 43 often appear side by side.
Yes. The digits and the total of 7 are the same, so the tradition about each digit carries over. What differs is the order, and the arithmetic: 43 is prime, while 34 is 2 x 17. Numerology as we present it does not rank one order above the other.
